Lincolnshire County Council Elections 2021
Are you interested in the future of your community? Would you like to be involved in shaping how resources will be developed in the coming years in your area and across the County? Do you have ideas and a vision as what this would look like? In these uncertain times, the Labour Party is looking for members who could become candidates in the County Councils elections in May 2021 across Lincolnshire.
The County Party is starting the process to select candidates in all County divisions who could potentially go on to represent their area as a County Councillor for the ensuing four years. This would mean that you have a direct involvement in the many decisions that need to be made to ensure that Lincolnshire gets its fair share of resources and that they are used in an effective manner to help all sections of the society that make up our communities in Lincolnshire.
If you would like to express an interest, and would like to find out more you can do so by asking for an application pack from the County Party secretary, John Grocock and returning it by 8 June 2020 at firstname.lastname@example.org.
After you have applied, there will be an interview where you will be able to assess how much you know and how much still needs to be learned about becoming a County candidate and County Councillor in Lincolnshire. It is a challenging role but a rewarding one too.
Our new Leader, Keir Starmer is now beginning the process of readying the Labour party for success at the next general election four years away. By standing for Labour in 2021, you will be playing a front line role in helping to bring this about.
